Choose Impact Recovery Systems® for Ireland's and the UK's strongest and best performing bollard option for public roads and motorways. The unique stainless steel spring allows each bollard to fully bend on impact and absorb the force from vehicles. The 3M markings also provide unvrivalled visibility for long-lasting delineation on roads.
Each Impact Recovery Systems® post is equipped with a 360° rotational stainless steel spring. Upon impact this spring will allow the post to bend, absorbing the impact and reducing the risk of damage to vehicles. The spring allows the post to be struck from any angle and still work effectively as expected.
When purchasing bollards they may be referred to as suitable for on-highway or off-highway use.
Off-highway bollards are only suited to local roads, car parks or private premises and are not designed to be impacted at high speeds.
On-highway bollards, however, are made for roads and motorways. Some bollards, like the OmegaPost, have been tested to repeat impacts at much high speeds.
