The LGV Heavy Duty Wheel Stop is a highly durable, effective parking kerb that is ideal for use in areas where LGV and van traffic is frequent. The rubber wheel stops are designed to mark areas in parking bays or spaces and help drivers to park correctly.
Crafted from recycled rubber, our wheel stops are designed to endure daily wear and tear. Their sturdy build serves as an effective deterrent, preventing LGVs and vans from entering areas occupied by pedestrians, infrastructure, or other vehicles. The shorter side of the wheel stops provides a supportive resting surface for truck wheels during parking. Simultaneously, the longer rear side allows trucks to safely reverse over the wheel stop if they happen to bypass it.
Every LGV wheel stop is equipped with a yellow strip and yellow glass bead reflectors. These markings are integrated into the wheel stop, ensuring prolonged visibility compared to cheaper alternatives that may use glued-on markings. This design guarantees excellent visibility of the kerb while the wheel stop is in place.
An assessment of the area should be undertaken before installation to determine the best position for the wheel stops. The wheel stops should be positioned far enough away from the building, footpath or machinery to avoid any accidental impact.
