The Economy Steel Wheel Stops are a highly visible, 600mm long, galvanised steel bumper. They are designed for use with vans and LGVs, to stop the vehicle from hitting adjacent buildings or pedestrians. The steel wheel stop is tougher and more robust than rubber alternatives. The bumpers are commonly used at loading docks, warehouses or logistic depots.
The wheel stops are powder coated yellow, making them highly visible to drivers and pedestrians. The steel will not rust or corrode and the powder coated finish will not chip or crack. 2no. wheel stops should be installed per space to ensure full contact with the wheels of the vehicle.
Each base plate has 1 pre-drilled hole to easily bolt the wheel stop to the ground. Fixings are not included. An assessment of the area should be carried out first before installation and the distance from the end of the space to the wheel stop should be calculated then.
