The Compact Vehicle Height Restrictor – Pivot is designed to block tall vehicles from entering areas that they are not authorised to enter. The barrier sits at the entrance to carparks, public areas and factory yards and the crossbar stops HGVs, vans and caravans from entering. When access is required, the cross bar can pivot to allow access for all vehicles.
The barrier has 4no. integral height levels, with a maximum height of 2.8m. An optional nudge bar can be added to the barrier if it needs to be lower.
The barrier comprises of one steel post and crossbar and comes powder coated red and white as standard. All steel components are hot-dip galvanised, making the barrier resistant to rust and corrosion. The boom arm features red reflective strips for visibility day and night.
The barrier should be bolted down using the pre-drilled holes in the base plates. It is recommended to install a concrete pad underneath for the best hold.
